Evie DuVernay (she/they) is a proud Cleveland resident who has a passion for community, service, co-creating more equitable spaces, and the amplification of marginalized voices. Most recently before coming to 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料, they served as Director of Look Up To Cleveland at the Cleveland Leadership Center. Previously, they served in positions at The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland and The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio, with a primary focus on issues of inclusion and equity around race, ethnicity, disability, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity and/or expression. They developed and delivered programs extensively throughout the United States around diversity & inclusion, including a large-scale LGBTQ+ inclusion program in preparation for the 2014 Gay Games in Northeastern Ohio. Evie has been named by The Plain Dealer as one of Cleveland鈥檚 Community Heroes for their work with young adults and received an LGBT Heritage Day Award from the City of Cleveland for work in education and social services. They were named one of the top five most influential people in Northeast Ohio for LGBTQ+ advocacy by Cleveland Magazine, and Cisgender Ally of the Year by the Northeast Ohio Transgender community. Throughout their career, they have also developed multiple programs to advance inclusion that have been both awarded locally and replicated nationally. Evie holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology from Notre Dame College, a master鈥檚 in psychology from 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料, and a graduate certification in diversity management. Aside from their role at the Mareyjoyce Green Women鈥檚 Center, they also serve as adjunct faculty in the Women & Gender Studies department.
顿鈥橝蝉颈补 is a junior pursuing a degree in Nursing, with aspirations of advancing her education to earn a Master鈥檚 in Nursing Education. She dreams of one day working at, or even owning, a women鈥檚 clinic dedicated to providing inclusive and essential healthcare for women and nonbinary individuals.
顿鈥橝蝉颈补 is passionate about integrating comprehensive sex education and inclusive information about marginalized groups and LGBTQ+ history into the education of younger generations. She believes that this knowledge is crucial for fostering understanding and support in diverse communities.
In her free time, 顿鈥橝蝉颈补 enjoys connecting with nature, expanding her plant collection (which she surprisingly has kept alive for more than a week), and trying to make a dent in her ever-growing bookshelf.
Reg is a graduate student in the NEOMFA program. Their goal is to be a fiction author. When not in the Women鈥檚 Center, she teaches figure skating lessons, crochets, plays video games, and enjoys a good TV show/movie or book.
Daylun is majoring in Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies and Black Studies (Africana Studies). She is passionate about advocating for social justice for the LGBTQ+ community and Black and Brown communities, with a focus on decolonization and destigmatization in education curriculum, the teaching of inclusive sex education, as well as a focus on underrepresented communities and identities within film and media.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching countless tv shows/movies, enjoying nature, connecting with new people, having deep conversations, reading books, listening to music, singing, dancing, and trying to find great vegan eateries.
Elizabeth is a junior majoring in Journalism and Promotional Communications, with a minor in Digital Content Production. She is very interested in supporting the LGBTQ+ community as well as other marginalized groups and speaking on issues those groups face in society. Elizabeth is passionate about understanding how people interact with each other. Other interests of hers include mental health, and various arts such as dance, traditional and digital art, and music production (she produces and sings herself). Elizabeth loves to support people and connect with them in any way she can.
Sam is a second-year graduate student in the Social Work program. She enjoys working with adolescents and young adults and is passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and equitable access to mental health care. In her free time, Sam likes being with her family and her dogs, reading, and playing video games with friends.
Rachel is a graduate student in the Social Work program. She graduated from BGSU with a bachelor鈥檚 in social work and found her passion for serving others during undergrad. Her career goal is to be a Youth Mental Health Therapist in schools. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, trying not to overwater her plants, and being outside in nature. All of her activities run on her love for iced coffee.
