Supported Mobile Devices

Microsoft supports various mobile devices for accessing Office 365.

Apple iOS and Android devices can be set up to access ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ Office 365 email through the device's native email client. Both types of devices can also be setup to use the Microsoft Outlook app that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  For information on setting up access through either of these methods, refer to the information listed under the set up access section.

Set Up Access

The following information is provided for setting up access for various mobile devices in order to access your ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ email account.  

Setup native email clients to use 'Office 365' or 'Exchange'. User ID or email address should be entered as:

• Students: "ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ_ID@vikes.csuohio.edu" (ex: 1234567@vikes.csuohio.edu)
• Faculty / Staff: "ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ_ID@csuohio.edu" (ex: 1234567@csuohio.edu)
• CM Law: "ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ_ID@cmlaw.csuohio.edu" (ex: 1234567@cmlaw.csuohio.edu)
• Alumni: "ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ_ID@alumni.csuohio.edu" (ex: 1234567@alumni.csuohio.edu)

Please note:  should your status with the university ever change, that is your status changes from a student to an employee or alumni or any combination such as this, you will need to reconfigure your mobile device to reflect this change, as your ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ email address will change to match your current status.
