Federal Pell Grant:

• Students who have not reached their lifetime limit of Pell Grant eligibility and meet all federal eligibility requirements may be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant.
• Students must have remaining annual eligibility (used less than 100%) or qualify to receive up to an additional 50% under the Year-Round Pell program.

Federal Student Loans:

• Students enrolled in at least six credit hours for summer may be eligible to receive or apply for Federal Direct Loans.
• Federal Direct Stafford Loans are based on annual borrowing limits that are reduced by amounts borrowed in the current academic year.
• Federal Direct Graduate PLUS and Parent PLUS Loans are credit-based and can be awarded up to cost-of-attendance (less other aid received), and require the borrower to complete an online application at .

Alternative (Private) Loans:

• Private educational loans may be a good option if there is little or no remaining federal student aid/loan eligibility for your summer semester.
• Private loans are credit-based and can be awarded up to cost-of-attendance (less other aid received).
• Credit-worthy cosigners may be required in order to qualify.
