Virtual Permit Refund / Exchange Procedure:

This form is required for all individuals requesting an annual or semester virtual permit refund/exchange. This form can only be used for virtual permit refunds. Physical permits (hangtags) must be returned in person to the Parking Office (2402 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115). The permit refund/exchange policy can be found here.

Semester Permits

The proration of all semester permits will begin on the first Monday of a new term. A $15 administrative fee* will be deducted from all refunds and exchanges. Semester permit refund requests may be submitted through the last withdrawal date, as is defined in the University’s Official Academic Calendar. Refund requests submitted after the withdrawal date must be approved by the Director of Parking and Transportation Services.

Annual Permits

A $15 administrative* fee will be deducted from annual permit refund amounts. Annual permits are pro-rated starting on Aug. 2nd. Pro-rated refunds are based on the return date and the balance paid on the permit. Refunds will be processed through Treasury Services.

I understand that all permit returns are subject to a $15 administrative fee, except summer permits. Returned permits are not eligible for repurchase. If a permit is needed at a later time, you may select from the remaining available permits.

Refunds:

I understand all student refunds are posted to CampusNet and may be used to pay off a parking or university account balance. Faculty/Staff refunds will be issued via check through Accounts Payable.
