Preparing Students for STEMM Careers Is Focus of ϰϲʿ¼ Presidential Forum

“STEMM is the catalyst for us to redesign how we deliver education,” Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Eric Gordon declared at “Building a STEMM Pipeline from School to the Workplace,” a 50th Anniversary ϰϲʿ¼ Presidential Forum held April 1 in the Glasscock Family Ballroom of the ϰϲʿ¼ Student Center.

Joining him for a stimulating panel discussion about how best to prepare students for careers in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine) were Kirsten Ellenbogen, Ph.D, president and CEO of the Great Lakes Science Center; Jaime Irick, vice president and general manager of North America Professional Solutions at GE Lighting; and David Perse, M.D., president and CEO of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center.
