Four NSF STEM Workshops to Help Faculty Secure Grants
CLEVELAND - 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料's Office of Research is pleased to announce four upcoming workshops to help faculty enhance National Science Foundation educational projects supported by the NSF's Transforming Undergraduate Education in STEM program (TUES).
The first workshop will focus on Proposal Strategy and will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th in RT 702.
The second workshop will focus on Goals and Expected Outcomes and will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9th in RT 702.
The third workshop will focus on Project Evaluation and will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24th in RT 702.
The fourth workshop will focus on Broader Impacts and will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30th in RT 702.
Dr. Norbert Delatte, professor and chair in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料, has agreed to facilitate the three workshops scheduled for April 4th, 9th, and 30th. Dr. Delatte has a successful history with NSF TUES grants and would like to help other 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 faculty learn more about this program. Susan Carver, NSF Grant Program Coordinator in the Department of Mathematics at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料, has agreed to facilitate the workshop scheduled for April 24th.
Through on-site exercises and web-based interactive exchanges, participants will learn strategies for dealing with important aspects of an NSF educational project so they can more effectively address these considerations in preparing proposals or in implementing funded efforts.
