Elements Bistro on Euclid, on the campus of �ϰ������ϲʿ�����¼����, was declared the 2016 People’s Choice winner at the conclusion of Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week.

To determine the winner, guests dining at participating restaurants were encouraged to visit the event’s website and vote for their favorite venue, post images on Instagram and use the hashtag #dtCLERestaurantWeek on Twitter. The restaurant that garnered the most social media activity coupled with votes would be declared the winner. Elements Bistro received the highest amount of votes, saw a 530% increase in Twitter activity and was announced the victor.

Elements’ Sous Chef, Christina Poindexter, and her team created a multi-course lunch menu for just $15. Popular Slavic Village-inspired Fleet Avenue Pierogies and the University’s exclusive Mitchell’s Homemade Viking Gold Ice Cream placed atop chocolate bread pudding drizzled with Maker’s Mark caramel sauce, were the stars of the menu. Spicy pasta, zesty stir fry, vegetarian-friendly foods and refreshing starter courses also wowed the crowds.

Local Cleveland TV Channel 19 filmed a story about Restaurant Week inside Elements Bistro on the event’s opening day. Reporter Shanice Dunning interviewed Chef Christina and captured her creating the freshly made Fleet Avenue Pierogies. Dunning endorsed the pierogis as “Shanice Dunning-approved.”

Elements Bistro is located at 2300 Euclid Avenue and is open for lunch service Monday-Friday, 11am-4pm. The venue is available for private events in the evenings and on weekends.
