C|M|LAW Presents Celebrating Cities: A Photo Exhibition

老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料鈥檚 Cleveland-Marshall College of Law will host the exhibit, 鈥淐elebrating Cities: a Photo Exhibition鈥 by photographers Jennie Jones and Judy Rawson. The exhibit will be on display throughout the fall semester, with an opening reception on Thursday, September 6 at 5:30 p.m.

The show will include a selection of Jones鈥 multiple photo collections celebrating the city of Cleveland, as well as Rawson鈥檚 Living in Common: Cities and Countryside, which depicts the synergy between well-designed cities and the country landscapes in which they sit.

Jennie Jones has been a premier photographer of the city of Cleveland since the early 1980鈥檚, with her work appearing in numerous books and national magazines including Fortune and Forbes. In 2010, she donated 22,000 images to the Michael Schwartz Library, Special Collections at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 representing 30 years of her work.

Judy Rawson, a 2017 inductee in the C|M|LAW Hall of Fame along with her husband, Robert, served the City of Shaker Heights for 21 years, first as a City Council member, then as a two-term mayor. Rawson has focused her photography on cities, both domestically and abroad, to help see the world in fresh and distinctive ways.

鈥淐ities are vitally important places, bringing together people and memorable urban moments,鈥 says Rawson. 鈥淲hen well-designed, these places add beauty, coherence and energy to our lives. This exhibit celebrates architectural gems and cherished places in a variety of cities.鈥

Photography from Rawson鈥檚 exhibit will be available for purchase with proceeds from sales benefitting scholarships for Cleveland-Marshall students.
