Christopher Connor Receives In Tribute to Public Service Award 10/29
Retired Sherwin-Williams CEO will be honored for his lifelong commitment to Cleveland
Longtime Sherwin Williams CEO Christopher Connor has been selected to receive the 2019 In Tribute to Public Service Award presented by 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料鈥檚 Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs. The award honors individuals who demonstrate exemplary leadership in public life and contribute significantly to the betterment of Northeast Ohio.

Connor was named CEO of Sherwin-Williams in 1999 and served in that role until his retirement in 2016. During his tenure, the company was consistently recognized nationally and internationally for financial excellence, integrity of business practices, outstanding innovation and a strong record of shareholder stewardship. Connor has also been an active community leader, having been involved with many important civic, industry and not-for-profit organizations. He is serving, or has served, on the boards of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, University Hospitals Health System and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, among many others.
Connor is a 1974 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and a 1978 graduate of The Ohio State University. He and his wife have three adult children and the entire family continues to reside in Cleveland.
Over the past 34 years, the In Tribute to Public Service Award has saluted 39 individuals who have made significant contributions to public service in Greater Cleveland. It celebrates the service and support of an esteemed individual dedicated to the mission of the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 and to the Greater Cleveland community.
