Step 1: Complete your letter of intent by April 1.

This form should be completed and turned in to your school counselor. If you are a homeschooled student or attend a private high school, you must also apply for . 

Step 2: apply to Cleveland state.

Complete our . Please take note of the application deadlines below. This deadline is when all materials need to be received by Cleveland State. The deadline ensures you can complete the enrollment process before the beginning of the term. When you apply, you will need your own email address, a guardian's email address, and your school counselor's email (if you are homeschooled, we will use your guardian's email). 

A completed application will include the following:

• Official high school transcript
• Guardian authorization form*
• Counselor authorization form*
• Student mature content authorization form*

There are several ways for a student to be admitted for CCP courses at Cleveland State. The grid below provides the minimum standards for grades and test scores; however, all applications are subject to further review. A GPA is required to be reviewed for admission. If a GPA is not reported on a student's transcript or report card, we request that the school counselor calculate a GPA and report it when completing the counselor authorization form.
